1986 Chevy Suburban
This is my 1986 Chevrolet Suburban K20 that I purchased in May of 2020 for under $500. This was my summer project that I worked on in my free time. It needed a lot of work and I did various things like electrical work, engine work, changing all of the fluids, interior work, body work, and a new paint job all from my driveway. I got it to pass inspection and was able to transform it from a junk vehicle that could barely drive on the road to a very cool daily driver that I brought down to Virginia Tech with me.

Preparing for Paint-
The whole truck was painted with about 20 cans of Rustoleum 2x Navy Blue on the top, and 5 cans of Rustoleum truck bed liner on the bottom to create the dark two tone look. I also painted the wheels with the bed liner to match the body. After the paint had completely dried, I did a ton of wet sanding, compounding, polishing, and waxing the paint to give it as smooth as a finish as I could.
